V. Ellsworth Lewis is a clinical psychologist with degrees from Wheaton College (B.A. Philosophy/Anthropology, 1978) and Brigham Young University (Ph.D. Clinical Psychology, 1989). Following pre-doctoral and postdoctoral training through the U.S. Army Medical Department, he worked with severely emotionally disturbed children at Monterey County Children's Services, supervised programs in eating disorders, crime victim services, and sexual abuse treatment at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, and worked with prison populations in Wisconsin and Nevada. While at Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAMHS), he provided psychological consultation to the 2nd District Mental Health Court (Washoe County), while also providing outpatient psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
